Dorchester County Public Schools is currently accepting applications for Food Service Assistant and Substitute Food Service Assistants.  

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists cafeteria managers and food service assistants;
2. Assures compliance with USDA’s new Meal Pattern Requirements;
3. Assists Food Services Manager with preparing nutritional analysis of menus;
4. Reviews production records;
5. Coordinates Inventory Control;
6. Updates bid information and order forms and assists with bid preparation;
7. Makes recommendations, as appropriate, that contribute to the efficiency/effectiveness of DCPS’s Food Service Operations to the Food Services Manager;
8. Substitutes for cafeteria managers;
9. Assists with other duties/responsibilities as outlined by Food Services Manager;
10. Other duties as assigned.
